Wonderful toy! I bought this to keep my 7 month old daughter entertained on a 5 hour plane ride. She loved playing with it on the plane and kept her entertained for at least 30 minutes at a time (which is pretty good for a 7 month old on a cramped plane). I love that this toy has different parts, sounds, textures for her to play with. There is also a rattle in the middle which she loves. My only concern is that there is a round bead on one of the tabs. It looks pretty secure but I am always afraid that the loop holding the bead in will come apart someday and the little bead will end up in her mouth. So when I give her this toy I am extra vigilant and when I see her chewing on the bead I turn the toy around so she can put some other part of the toy in her mouth instead.

I was not happy after getting this that it was made in China. Your advertising was misleading. I spent a little more because you made it sound like it was made in Germany. I also am not thrilled at all that it’s “machine washable” and the middle dome with beads gets water in there and after a week..still there. Just not happy with my purchase.

Is it all polyester or does it have any foam in it? Thank you!
Answer: It is a soft toy with no foam. I have washed ours a couple times on a low/gentle cycle and air dried. Really very pleased with this toy. It was the only one by baby enjoyed at around 3 months onward. He is now one and still likes to play with it.

Does this toy contain latex? What about the ??springy?? rags?
Answer: Sorry that I don’t know. I did’t see it in any of the labels but you may have to contact the manufacturer to confirm.

This is recomended for babies from age 6 months yet has a warning: choking hazard not for children under 3. so which is it?
Answer: I had it for my baby from 3 months. She didn??t chew it a lot but couldn??t see any of the parts easy to come off. Maybe check the stitching to double check otherwise I found it pretty safe. It was durable, still looked pretty new after two years of regular rough treatment.

Do I need to clean my new haba toys? If so, how do you suggest I do so?
Answer: All HABA toys from Amazon come new, bagged in the factory to prevent warehouse and transit dust. That being said, I would recommend either wiping clean or a gently hand wash (do not completely submerge) and hang dry.
