**UPDATE, ONE YEAR LATER**
So as I replaced the batteries on the submarine I wondered how long we had this toy, and came back to review! The buttons on the handle broke quite a while ago, but the pump still worked if you turned it on on the main submarine part. Not a huge deal. Lately it??s been shorting out so it??ll work fine for a while and then it??ll shut off and I??ll have to hit the button several times to get the motor to turn on again. Overall this toy has gotten a lot of use, and over the course of one year we changed the batteries 3-4 times.
We??ve had it for a month and have used it quite frequently. It??s a huge hit with our almost 2 year old! It has really helped cut down on wasting water since he??s obsessed with running water. It has a good flow of water and a low noise level. He can hit the main button on the submarine for the pump to stay on, or use the pinch-style buttons on the handle to turn it on and off by squeezing. Looking forward to using this in the outdoor water table this summer as well!

This is a fun toy when it works. Unfortunately, after about 10 plays, it stopped working. I opened up the battery compartment and found that water had leaked inside and caused all the metal parts to rust. This happened in spite of me thoroughly duck taping the entire battery compartment because other reviews complained of similar problems. This is completely ridiculous for being a bath toy.
